Reporting your child absent from school

If your child is absent from school, you must let school know. You can leave a message on the school absence line any time of the day. Please dial the school number, 0121 559 1037, and select option 1. When you leave a message please clearly state your child's name, their class and the reason for their absence.

Holidays and other leave during term time

Government changes come into force back in 2016 that mean Headteachers are no longer able to grant leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.

If you are considering taking your child out of school you must first complete a Leave of Absence form which can be collected from the school office.
